Who needs CPD?
All healthcare workers are required to have a continuous professional development activity in order to maintain, update and develop their knowledge, skills and attitudes in response to the health service needs of the public. You can read the national CPD guideline for further information.

The currently national 2015EFY CPD implementation manual gives more amplification in regard to the integration of CPD to professional as:
- Starting from 2014 EFY and onwards all CPD related activities should be given only by accredited CPD providers & with accredited courses.
- Certificates gained are only valid if and only if they are from an accredited CPD provider and with accredited course.
- All CPD activities should be reported by the accredited CPD provider to the governing body using the standard reporting formats.
