The Ethiopian Public Health Association (EPHA) and College of Health Sciences, Addis Ababa University (CHS-AAU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 25 March 2022 in Addis Ababa.
Dr. Alemayhu Mekonnen, Executive Director of EPHA and Dr. Andualem Deneke, Chief Executive Director of CHS-AAU, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
The aim of the MoU is to support the recovery and/or rehabilitation of health service providing facilities and caring Internal Displaced People (IDPs) in conflict affected regions of the country mainly in northern Ethiopia.
The CHS-AAU and EPHA have joined hands to contribute for the rehabilitation and restoration of health facilities in the conflict affected areas of the country especially in the catchment population of Woldia Hospital.
They conveyed a message to all to provide technical and financial support for the rehabilitation of health service facilities.
