Dear EPHA members,

It is well known that EPHA has Chapters to extend its activities nationwide. Currently, by way of strengthening the chapters, EPHA planned to replace chapter representatives and committee members who had served more than one term (two years) though official election. Therefore, EPHA calls upon all its respective regional members to nominate dedicated and potentially active EPHA members to lead the chapters. Hence, we would like to notify to those members who didn’t get a chance to nominate online, nomination time is extended. The extended nomination time will until 20th February, 2018 via EPHA official website.

Dear EPHA members,

As you know, the Ethiopian Public Health Association (EPHA) will conduct its 29^th annual conference in United Nations Conference Center(UNCC), Addis Ababa. One of the major activity in the conference will be, conducting general assembly meeting. In this GA meeting, Executive Board (EB) members who have completed their office term will be replaced by new ones. For this year, since three EB members have completed their office term, election and replacement of EB members will be held. Hence, EPHA would like to announce to those members who didn’t get a chance to nominate, nomination time is extended. The extended nomination time will be until February 22, 2018 via EPHA official website.

Criteria for Nomination of EPHA EB Members  

1. Membership: At least three years active membership (Active membership defined as one who has paid his membership fee up to 2015)
2. Age: As far as the person is willing to serve contribute he/she could be nominated
3. Gender: Male and female. Gender balance will be considered
4. Professional mix: Public Health, Biomedical and Social Sciences.
5. Commitment: to attend monthly and extraordinary meetings and take individual assignments
6. Residence: Any region and Addis Ababa
7. Willing to serve voluntarily - no payment   
8. Enthusiastic and passionate
9. Visionary/strategic thinker/proactive
